The Laversab Electronic Drilling Recorder is designed for common data acquisition applications on the rig, including Mudlogging, Lithology, Pit Volume Totalizer (PVT), Depth Logging, and more. The EDR makes real-time surface parameters available to the driller, operator, and offsite stakeholders. Key Performance Indicators, Tour Sheets, and Daily Reports are generated by the LINKS EDR Software. The system works with typical surface measurement sensors, which can be reused across multiple jobs. The Laversab EDR enables service companies to affordably add additional revenue streams by providing EDR services themselves. Multiple payment options are available for qualified customers.

Laversab systems are built for use in hazardous locations – Zone 1, Zone 2, and Class 1 Division 2. MWD tool manufacturers can rapidly integrate their decoders into the Laversab platform, which certifies them for hazardous locations. You can avoid the lengthy certification process and still enjoy a state-of-the-art surface system with wireless connectivity and a 3-year warranty. Laversab has partnered with several MWD tool providers. Surface Systems can be provided directly by Laversab or from a Laversab MWD partner.

Laversab software can monitor the performance of critical rig equipment – including engines, pumps, and others. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are used to measure and predict failures, downtime, and maintenance work. The Laversab platform can set custom alerts and calculate MTBF, MTTR, and DMECA. Monitoring can be done across multiple wells to compare an entire field.

Both packages are built for use in hazardous locations. Each comes with pre-built firmware for encoder calibration and quick setup. Depth data is formatted into WITS0 and/or WITSML and can be shared with other applications.
