Description
Cedars-Sinai recently celebrated the grand opening of Shenzhen Qianhai Taikang Hospital, an ultramodern, 1,100-bed medical center in Shenzhen, China. Developed in partnership with Taikang Healthcare, this world-class facility stands as a testament to the shared vision of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to millions while fostering international cooperation. Key specialties include gastroenterology, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, sports medicine, and urology, alongside specialized centers for cosmetic dermatology, dental medicine, health management, and plastic surgery. The collaboration also led to a new five-year strategic agreement encompassing administration training, clinical service development, education through joint symposia, telehealth, and healthcare operations.
Cedars-Sinai’s growing presence in China reflects its commitment to advancing global healthcare. This includes partnerships like the one with Taikang Healthcare and a strategic collaboration with Tsinghua University, supporting physician-scientist development and student training. With a regional office in Shanghai and ongoing initiatives, Cedars-Sinai aims to strengthen its role in both private and public healthcare sectors while expanding access to world-class care globally.
