Air Top Evo 40/55
Webasto Roof & Components SE
The Air Top Evo model offers greater comfort, safety, and heat output for defense vehicle, shelter and special equipment applications. The air heater heats up driver’s cabs, shelters, and cargo spaces quickly and efficiently. The new control system reduces energy consumption and noise significantly. The Air Top Evo 40/55 which is adapted to defence needs is a cost-effective retrofit solution since it is quick and simple to install.
Thermo Pro 90 HDD
Webasto Roof & Components SE
Thermo Pro 90 HDD was specifically designed for steady and reliable heat in very demanding conditions. Features such as altitude adjustment (up to 4.500 m), artic start (down to – 46 °C), and infinitely adjustable heating output guarantee operational readiness in any environment. Moreover, all Thermo Pro 90 variants are characterized by low energy consumption and highly efficient fuel consumption.
Integrated air-conditioning system 12-16 kW
Webasto Roof & Components SE
These integrated air-conditioning systems from Webasto cool with an output of 12 to 16 kW. They create comfortable conditions in defense vehicles. As they can be installed under the dashboard, under the roof, in the vehicle liner or vertically in the rear panel, they are extremely flexible to use.
Thermo Top Pro 50
Webasto Roof & Components SE
Thermo Top Pro 50 is lightweight and compact, considering its heating output of up to 5 kW. Moreover, it stands out for its low fuel consumption. Modern components such as the blower module and the coolant fluid pump, as well as a low partial load level of 2.5 kW, increase the efficiency of the heater and make it very quiet. Thermo Top Pro 50 heats the engine’s coolant circuit and ensures a comfortable vehicle interior - before driving, when stationary and during breaks.
UKG 12
Webasto Roof & Components SE
The UKG12 air-conditioner has been specially designed for the defense market to cool and heat air in various enclosed spaces (mobile and stationary, e.g., shelters). A constant temperature can be maintained and controlled automatically. The UKG12 is a monoblock air-conditioner designed for installation on the outer wall of a shelter. Optionally, the device can be retrofitted with a guide system that allows it to be pulled out. Designed and manufactured in accordance with defense requirements NO-06-A200, NO-06-A103.

Description
Stockdorf/Paris, May 28, 2026 – At Eurosatory, Webasto will present thermal management and air treatment solutions for military vehicles as well as mobile and stationary shelters in Hall 5B, Booth A300. These protected container and room modules are used for communications, command operations, and technical infrastructure. The systems are designed to help protect personnel and support the reliable operation of technology and sensitive equipment, even under challenging climatic conditions.
Thermal Management for Military VehiclesFor tactical vehicles, Webasto will showcase a range of heating and cooling solutions developed for use in demanding environmental conditions. These include air and coolant heaters as well as integrated military-grade air conditioning systems designed to regulate temperatures in cabins, mission compartments, critical vehicle components, and mobile infrastructure.
The Air Top Evo 40/55 air heater series enables fast and efficient heating of driver cabins, crew compartments, and cargo areas. The units are designed for low power consumption and reduced noise emissions and feature automatic altitude adjustment for operation in different deployment regions. Optional integrated RFI filters support use in electronically sensitive environments. For applications with higher heating requirements, two Air Top Evo units can be combined, while optional metal or carbon housings provide additional protection against demanding environmental influences.
For larger vehicles and applications with increased heating demand, Webasto offers coolant-based heating solutions such as the Thermo Pro 90 HDD. The unit provides heating output of up to 9.1 kilowatts (kW) and is engineered for operation in extreme climatic conditions. Features such as Arctic Start support reliable functionality even at very low ambient temperatures.
The compact Thermo Top Pro 50 coolant heater complements the portfolio for lighter commercial and mission vehicles. Delivering up to 5 kW of heating output, the unit can be controlled via analog signal or LIN bus, while the HDSCS connector supports straightforward and robust vehicle integration. Both coolant heaters enable engine-independent preheating of vehicles, helping ensure operational readiness even in very low temperatures.
In addition, Webasto will present roof-integrated air conditioning systems for vehicles. The systems are individually adapted to the respective vehicle platform and installed in the upper cabin area. This design supports efficient cooling while maintaining a low electromagnetic signature.
Climate Control and Air Management for SheltersIn addition to vehicle solutions, Webasto will also present systems for climate control and air treatment in mobile and stationary shelters. These systems are used in communications, command, and technical workspaces where stable environmental conditions are required for personnel and electronic systems.
The UKG12 air conditioning unit is externally mounted and provides cooling and heating for enclosed spaces. Temperature regulation is automated, while the robust housing design supports reliable operation under demanding conditions.
With cooling capacity of up to 12 kW and heating capacity of up to 7 kW, the system is suitable for a variety of deployment scenarios. Multiple units can be centrally controlled and may optionally be integrated into higher-level systems or operated remotely.
The systems can also be combined with air filtration solutions to help manage air quality in enclosed workspaces. Many of the showcased solutions comply with international military standards and are designed for use in NATO-compatible system architectures.
“Our systems are designed to support the reliable operation of vehicles and mobile infrastructure, even under extreme environmental conditions. The focus is on protecting personnel, supporting operational reliability, and delivering dependable performance,” says Jörg Hornung, Vice President Aftermarket at Webasto.
