Precision Custom Sheet Metal Shearing & Fabrication Capability:
T.I. has the capability to shear up to .75″ (19.05 mm) thick and 144″ (3657.6 mm) straight length.
When purchasing a flat product such as sheet, strip or plate, T.I can supply a sheared piece to a very tight tolerance of customer specified dimensions. Our shears have the capability to cut up to .75″ (19.05 mm) thick Grade 2, and .500”(12.7 mm) for Grade 5 and a straight length as long as 144″ (3567.6 mm).
An additional option of “Gap Shearing” is available, which can produce cuts of up to 300”. Please talk to your T.I representative should you be interested in this alternative.
It is not uncommon for T.I to shear metal to dimensions of 1″ (25.4 mm) x 1″ (25.4 mm) squares, or to shear product to 48″ (1219.2 mm) x 144″ (3657.6 mm) dimensions. Provide your dimensions and we will be happy to create your part blanks for you through the shearing process.
