LAMS Local Area Multilateration System
Advanced Navigation and Positioning Corporation
The LAMS from ANPC is a transponder-based surveillance system that uses multilateration to track and display the precise position including altitude of all IFR-equipped aircraft flying within a range of 100 NM, and operates independently of GPS or other satellite-based navigation. It is designed to provide or enhance long-range
situational awareness at any airfield lacking radar facilities, in any environment and without the high initial cost and annual maintenance costs of a conventional secondary surveillance radar (SSR).
This innovative system is rapidly deployable, rugged, and reliable in any runway environment, and is contained in a much smaller footprint compared to other multilateration systems requiring widely dispersed sensor units. The LAMS Calibration and Built-In Test assembly monitors the system around the clock to verify the accuracy of all surveillance tracks. The LAMS compact receivers and all electronics are shipped in a standard 10’ Conex container with environmental control for the harshest of climate and weather conditions, and when deployed occupy a small 100 m2 area on the airfield. The system accomplishes this using a combination of Time of Arrival, Angle of Arrival, and Time Difference of Arrival measurements to establish precise aircraft position. The system’s placement on or near the airfield is flexible and easily customized to mission requirements.
The system can be unpacked and installed by two technicians to full operational capability in less than two hours, providing unparalleled rapid deployability for any surveillance or radar system.
LAMS-cUAS: Airspace Surveillance Security in Any Environment
Advanced Navigation and Positioning Corporation
ANPC’s LAMS Counter Unmanned Air System is a multi-sensor surveillance system designed for early detection and identification of all cooperative and uncooperative aircraft to provide security for airports, borders, and high-value assets such as oil drilling and refining facilities.
Drones used with malicious intent pose a current and growing threat to lives and property including industrial,
commercial, and political infrastructure, and the LAMS-cUAS was designed specifically to mitigate threats from drones and other hostile airborne targets. The LAMS-cUAS utilizes and seamlessly integrates three critical technologies: primary surveillance radar, secondary surveillance radar, and electro-optical imaging.
The LAMS-cUAS is a full-featured ASR with a compact, sheltermounted primary radar and a solid-state SSR with a range to 100NM and greater accuracy than conventional radar systems. The lightweight, low-power camera system provides exceptional day/night visual identification of any target the operator suspects is a potential
threat. The live data feeds can be easily shared with intercept forces for mitigation and countermeasures.
TLS Transponder Landing System
Advanced Navigation and Positioning Corporation
ANPC’s TLS Transponder-Based Instrument Landing System is designed to provide precision approach guidance for airfields that cannot accommodate conventional ILS systems, and with no reliance on GPS or other satellite-based navigation. These commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products combine the functions of an ILS, SSR, and PAR in a single integrated system. Designed for permanent installations and engineered for resilience, the TLS is ideal for any runway environment, regardless of terrain, obstacles, or climate. Little to no civil works are required to prepare the site location, and potential multipath interference from obstacles or rough terrain is
mathematically eliminated in software during the system calibration process.
TLS-463: Combined ILS and Secondary Surveillance System for Temporary Airfield Operations
Advanced Navigation and Positioning Corporation
The TLS-463 from ANPC is the world’s only rapidly deployable, GPS-independent precision approach guidance system. It is designed to provide complete CAT. I instrument approach, PAR, and SSR capabilities to any remote airfield in the world regardless of climate or terrain, and in just several hours.
The entire system occupies a single 463L master pallet for transport and can be installed to full operational capacity in less than three hours by a two-person crew, with minimal if any site preparation. The TLS-463 will detect and track any aircraft equipped with a Mode 3/A/C/S transponder to a range of 110 NM and provide
ILS guidance that exceeds ICAO performance specifications with no upgraded avionics or additional pilot training required. When fully deployed, the system occupies a small footprint adjacent to or astride a runway regardless of its length or water/obstacles at one or both ends.

The eTLS is a highly mobile, rugged, and quickly deployable ATC solution for expeditionary forces during contingency and humanitarian operations.
The eTLS is designed for GPS-denied environments and used where conventional ILS equipment cannot be sited due to rugged terrain or limited property. The system has the ability to support defense CONOPS including Agile Combat Employment (ACE) and Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations (EABO).
Expeditionary—Roll-On/Roll-Off: Rotary/Fixed Wing/Tilt Rotor Aircraft
• Packaged for towing by ATV/UTV and transport on
a single mobility aircraft (E.g., C-130, C-17, C-5, C-295,
CN-235, V-22, H-47)
• Deployable in 2 hours by 2 personnel with minimal training
• Modular packaging, independent of transport structures,
scalable to operational requirements
• Tool-less system
• Packed by install location zones for rapid set up
